There are so many Kansas Citians in need of blankets and coats this winter and Project Warmth is helping for the 19th year in a row! The Kansas City Star started Project Warmth back in 1982 and since then they have collected more than 2,20o tons of blankets and coats and more than $7.25 million for area children, families and the elderly!
The Salvation Army sorts and distributes all items for free and gives them to approximately 75 agencies and shelters in the 8-county metropolitan area.
You can go online today and make a donation that will help to keep so many of our fellow Kansas Citians warm this week! Click here.
